The Best of London
London, England is a world famous holiday destination and full of tourist attractions so planning your itinerary may be a daunting task. After living in the city for several years,
I love London and have outlined some of the main things, which I believe, are not to be missed:
Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London are a must-see and don’t forget to take a photo with all these main attractions.
Many people visit London not only for sight-seeing, but for the fantastic shopping areas and Oxford Street is no exception. It is one of the greatest shopping locations in Europe and where you will find all the big names, including large department-stores such as Selfridges, John Lewis and Debenhams. Be sure to reserve a couple of hours for Harrods, the most exciting department store in London. Hamleys is also definitely worth a visit, especially if you are travelling with children.
A trip to Hyde Park is a great idea for some time out in London. There are plenty of beautiful parks and gardens in London including St. James Park, Kensington Gardens, Green Park and Regents Park.
Whether it’s a breakfast of fresh croissants and hot coffee in a French café, or an authentic English afternoon tea at the Ritz or a Chinese banquet in China Town, London is an exciting, culturally vibrant location and offers a diverse variety of food and there are many cafés & restaurants to choose from.
If you wish to be entertained, then London is the place for you, with a multitude of famous theatre shows and comedy clubs.
Sight-seeing, excellent shopping, lush parks, great food and not to mention highly exciting entertainment options, the city of London has it all.
